Este video promocional fue realizado para la versión de la obra "La Gaviota" de Antón Chéjov, "La Misma Piedra". En esta versión algunos personajes son cambiados de género y el espacio escénico viaja entre una temporalidad realista y una paralela que proviene del mundo interior de los personajes.
El texto presenta el cinismo de una época y una protección de los miedos e inseguridades inviduales ante los otros, actitudes que todavía podemos ver en nuestra sociedad contemporánea. En el video busqué desarrollar la frustración de los personajes, que nunca es presentada explícitamente en la obra, por eso en el inicio se establece una presentación correcta de los personajes, para luego avanzar a esos momentos de honestidad que experimentan en soledad.
La planificación duró un mes, el rodaje 1 día.
This promotional video was made for a version of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" called " La Misma Piedra". In this version some characters are represented are performed with a different gender and the staging travels from a realistic setting to a parallel time that emerges from the interior world of the characters.
The text establishes a context of cynism of a specific period and a protection of the individual fears and insecurities to the eyes of the others, attitudes that we still can see in our contemporary times. In this video I looked forward to develop and exhibit the frustrations of the characters, that are never literally said or shown in the play, that's way at the beginning the characters are properly established and then moved forward to those honesty moment they experiment on their own.
The planning took 1 month, and the shooting 1 day.
